December 9, 2004 journal, the Hallelujah
Diet quoted on rheumatoid arthritis while sugar in my experience is a number
one cause of arthritis. If I eat
anything sweet my joints get sore. I
believe the vegetarian diet is God's proper diet but I cannot recommend
juicing. I believe one can consume too
much carrot juice which is known to cause oranging of
the skin and can be toxic. I prefer to
eat raw carrots and whole oranges; eating them this way does not raise my blood
sugar level whereas juicing them is too much sugar depleting me.
I
am happy to quote from the Hallelujah Acres newsletter this week against meat
because I have faith in <hacres.com> and I believe their theory is the
correct direction for America and the world to be meat free. My paintings of the 5 white killers in our
diet is inspired by the information they produce even though I had heard this
before becoming acquainted w/ George Mallmus at Hallelujah
Acres. I find it disgusting that America slaughters over 20 million
animals per day to feed the addiction to meat. We're the fattest nation on the
earth. Fox crime news is as hot as a pistol with all the killing going on here,
2 people were killed in Westminster near Clemson this week and
their car stolen. A serial killer is also
arrested. (Quoting "hope), as a Christian I continue to pray that God will
step in and undeceive him. I've written you in the past to give thanks for
eradicating JUVENILE RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS (JRA) from my life. This is a miracle
I could not have achieved if I had not eliminated ALL MEAT (including fish) from
my diet - and I know, because I tried every-thing from organic meats to simply
eating less meat. It wasn't until I was
OFF MEAT COMPLETELY for a number of months that I was cured. . . . As any
physician can tell you, JRA and other auto-immune conditions are about
inflammation . . . and the SAD diet is inflammatory. You can go to NIH's website and find many articles recommending
alkalizing (therefore plant-based), animal product-free diets to combat
rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatologists know that diets like the Hallelujah Diet
are the best defense against auto-immune diseases. I'd like to see Jordan
Rubin's proof that eating animal products does anything other than exacerbate
JRA and other such conditions. Maybe one of your Health Tips can debunk Rubin's
book from the point of view of inflammation? Thanks for all your good work. May
God continue to bless you and your ministry richly! (A.J.)” MAKER'S DIET: [7]
“MYTH: VEGETARIANS LIVE LONGER AND HAVE MORE ENERGY AND ENDURANCE THAN MEAT-EATERS.
One English vegetarian guidebook claim-ed that vegetarians
'can expect to live nine years longer than meat-eaters.' A witty com-mentator
called this fictitious life expansion, 'indulging in a bit of wishful
thinking.' ” EDI-TOR: As I read the above so-called “MYTH,” I could not help
but wonder how Jordan Rubin can continue to make such outrageously false
statements, in view of all the evidence that so clearly refutes what he is
saying. It would appear that Jordan Rubin is so determined to discredit The
(plant- based) “Genesis or Hallelujah Diet” and get people to accept his
(meat-based) MAKER'S DIET, that he is willing to say almost anything, no matter
how demonstrably false what he is saying is. So, let's see if what Jordan Rubin
is calling a “MYTH” here, is “fictitious life expansion . . . 'a bit of wishful
thinking,' ” or TRUTH, by examining the evidence! LONGEVITY ***Gabriel Cousins,
in his book “Conscious Eat-ing” writes on page 184:
“Of the 154 centenarians in Bulgaria, only five ate meat regular-ly. It is a well-established fact that the longest-lived
people throughout the world, such as the Hunzkuts,
Bulgarians, East Indian Todas, Russian Caucasians,
and Yucatan Indians are either complete vegetarians or eat meat infrequently. In a study of Seventh Day Adventists, the
largest single group of vegetarians in the U.S., it was found that”…
